The spooky spot is offering a series of $25 after-dark, guided graveyard walks in October and November — but has a strict no dress up policy.“We know it’s Halloween season, but please do not arrive in costume,” reads the event invitation, first reported by Patch.“Attendees in costume, face-paint, or masks will not be admitted.”Coming in costume to the Halloween-season strolls was deemed inappropriate because Green-Wood is “an active cemetery,” a rep for the cemetery said in a statement.“All of our events are created to educate and entertain those who participate, while maintaining a respectful environment,” the statement said.During the rest of the year, the 478-acre Greenwood Heights burial plot hosts special events including: a Victorian-era circus, a burger cook-off and some concerts.
